PHOENIX - Phoenix police tell ABC15, one of the Valley's most wanted fugitives, Angel Padilla, has been arrested and is in police custody.

According to Sgt. Steve Martos with the Phoenix Police Department, Padilla was arrested at 6 p.m. at a home near 91st Avenue and McDowell Road.

Martos said police got information from an unknown source that Padilla was inside the home. When police arrived, there were three adults and several small children inside.

Authorities said the Phoenix SWAT team entered the home and arrested Padilla without incident.

Martos said a few people at the home are being questioned by police. Their level of involvement with Padilla is unknown at this time.

Officers said Padilla is currently in custody at Phoenix police headquarters.
