PHOENIX - Police are asking for the public's help locating a man who may have information in the case of a woman and her teenage daughter whose bodies were found inside a Phoenix home Monday afternoon.
Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Trent Crump said police were called to the home near 25th Street and McDowell around 1 p.m. after a family member called 911.
The family member had returned after being gone a few days and found the victims dead inside the home.
Police have identified the victims as 42-year-old Christina Wilson and her 14-year-old daughter Vanessa Wilson.
Neighbors said they heard gunshots between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, but Crump couldn't confirm how the victims died.
"She was a really good friend to talk to when you need someone there," said Vanessa's best friend from Camelback High school, Amanda Bailey. "I'm gonna miss her."
Crump said Christine Wilson had a live in boyfriend, Michael Blanco who has not been seen for a couple of days. Detectives are in the process of trying to locate Blanco to speak with him about this crime and check on his welfare.
Blanco is described as a 41-year-old Hispanic male with tattoos on his neck and arms.
You can see a picture of Blanco in the photo slideshow above.
Detectives are asking for anyone with information on Blanco's whereabouts to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151.
