PHOENIX - A man was killed Wednesday night after his motorcycle collided with a car at a busy Phoenix intersection.
According to police, the accident happened around 4:45 p.m. near 32nd Street and Camelback Road.
Authorities said the motorcyclist was traveling northbound and ran into a Toyota Prius heading eastbound.
The cyclist was transported to a local hospital where he later died. It is unknown at this time if the driver of the Prius was injured.
The intersection was closed for hours while police worked to clear the scene.
Police are not releasing the victim's name at this time. It is unclear if he was wearing a helmet or not.
