PHOENIX - Gov. Jan Brewer's book, Scorpions for Breakfast has become a top-seller on Amazon.com.
The book now ranks seventh-most popular on the Internet sales giant's website.
The surge in sales comes amidst controversy over a discussion she and the president had as he visited the Valley on Wednesday.
A photo snapped during what appeared to be a heated discussion has been a hot topic for news and social media websites.
Reaction to what happened this week and the spike in sales was varied.
"I just think she caught a lucky break and it's just going to accelerate," Richard Young, who was interested in reading the book said. "It's going to sell more books for her."
"I am not the least bit interested. Living in this state, we get a dose of her all the time on the news. So, I will wait for Oliver Stone's movie," Baron Dixon said.
Brewer's book was released in November of last year.
