PHOENIX - Valley residents seeking employment will soon meet dozens of corporate partners looking to make on site hires.

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA, Inc.) is hosting its Annual National Convention & EXPO in Phoenix, June 15-16, 2012.

Each year, NABA hosts a career EXPO as part of its National Convention. The EXPO is open, not only to convention attendees, but also the local community that hosts the event each year.

For the 2012 National Convention & EXPO in Phoenix, NABA is excited to announce its first Virtual Career EXPO is officially open for candidates to create profiles and upload their resumes. NABA is offering this new platform as a part of its convention experience.

NABA's Virtual Career EXPO is a dynamic new 2D experience that enhances the way employers and candidates connect and interact. It also completely shifts how candidate resumes are made available to potential employers.

Nothing will ever replace face-to-face interaction, however, for those who cannot make it to the EXPO, the Virtual Career EXPO is a great alternative to initiate the recruitment process. NABA invites accounting, business, and finance professionals with a bachelor's degree or higher to participate in either the physical career EXPO or the Virtual Career EXPO on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In order to be pre-screened for interviews during the physical EXPO or to participate in the virtual component, candidates should set up a profile and register.

More than 40 companies, including Fortune 500, will be on hand at the Phoenix Convention Center, 100 N. 3rd Street in downtown, looking to fill hundreds of positions from entry level to senior management. Both the physical and virtual events are open to the public.

NABA, Inc. is known for leaving its footprint in every city their National Convention takes place. In addition, they will make a $2.1 million economic impact in Phoenix from their 1,500 members attending the convention.

Who Should Create A Profile?

* Candidates who are seeking employment but cannot attend the physical EXPO. NABA's Virtual Career EXPO allows you to engage with employers in cyberspace as if you are actually at the Convention Center.

* Candidates seeking employment and that plan to participate in NABA's physical career EXPO in Phoenix on June 15th. These candidates should use NABA's Virtual Career EXPO to create profiles, apply for opportunities, schedule interviews in advance of the convention, and much more.

Whether attending the convention or connecting in cyberspace, NABA's Virtual Career EXPO provides a unique opportunity for candidates to interact with corporate partners actively seeking top diverse talent!
