PHOENIX - An accident involving a a semi-trailer created a messy morning commute along the eastbound Interstate 10.
One person was injured and transported to the hospital in an accident on the eastbound Interstate 10 at 91st Avenue after a semi-trailer and a vehicle collided, said Tolleson Fire Department.
The crash closed multiple lanes for several hours leaving only one lane accessible to traffic, police said.
The Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted that delays from the crash were extended about two miles to 107th Avenue.
ADOT said that the accident was cleared at 9:19 a.m. and all lanes were open.
