AHWATUKEE, AZ - Police have identified a woman who officers say was shot and killed by her husband Tuesday night at their Ahwatukee home.
Amanda Blaies-Rinaldi, 28, was found dead by officers at a home in the 4600 block of E. Piedmont.
Police said she was killed by her husband, 26-year-old husband Anthony Rinaldi.
About 6:30 p.m., police received a call from the couple's 7-year-old son, who said his parents were fighting and that he heard three loud bangs.
After officers responded, they found Blaies-Rinaldi dead in the garage.
Police said the boy and his 2-year-old brother were upstairs when the shooting occurred. They were not injured.
Anthony Rinaldi left the home after the shooting. He turned himself in to a Department of Public Safety officer on Interstate 10.
Rinaldi was booked into the Maricopa County Jail and has been charged with second-degree murder.
Police said he worked as a corrections officer for the Arizona Department of Corrections.
