PHOENIX - Police say two men were injured when they were shot during a drug deal in Ahwatukee Sunday night.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. near 48th Street and Knox at an apartment complex.
Phoenix police say a man and woman met two men they didn't know to buy drugs.
During the transaction, one of the sellers pulled out a gun to rob the couple.
The man buying the drugs then pulled out his own gun and shot the two robbers.
One man was reportedly shot in the side and the other was shot in the arm.
Neither suffered life-threatening injuries.
