PRESCOTT, AZ - A man wearing a Halloween mask robbed a Verizon store in Prescott Friday afternoon, running from the scene with money from behind the counter.
According to Prescott Police, the robber, a man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and a Halloween-type mask, walked behind the counter and took money from the cash register.
The Halloween mask is said to be a plastic, brown and red mask with mouth, nose and eye holes.
A female employee confronted the man, but the suspect told her he was robbing them and ran from the store.
The suspect, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and of medium build, is said to have ran southbound across Iron Springs Road, according to police.
The suspect has not been apprehended, but officers and investigators are in the process of collecting evidence and leads connected to the incident.
