PRESCOTT, AZ - Authorities say a northern Arizona accused of trying to steal a vehicle while he was naked has died.

Yavapai County sheriff's deputies say 27-year-old Calvin Forrey died Sunday at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott.

The cause of death isn't immediately known. The county Medical Examiner's Office is expected to complete an autopsy by the end of this week.

Authorities say Forrey admitted to a prior addiction to bath salts, but it's unclear whether he was under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest last week.

Deputies responded to a campground at Lynx Lake on Friday after a caller said a naked man had stolen his vehicle.

The victim later reported hearing his Jeep crash nearby. Forrey was located near the vehicle and taken to a hospital.
