PRESCOTT, AZ - Northern Arizona authorities have arrested a man and his mother in the Village of Oak Creek.
Yavapai County Sheriff's officials say 22-year-old Miguel Jerry Zepeda and 44-year-old Elizabeth Garcia both have been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center.
Zepeda originally was arrested on June 6 in the Oak Creek for allegedly contributing to the delinquency of a minor, littering and providing a false name and birth date to law enforcement.
He was handcuffed and put into a patrol car, but fled the scene.
Authorities say Garcia is accused of hindering prosecution for picking up her son at a gasoline station and driving him to Camp Verde.
Garcia was arrested Wednesday and Zepeda was found hiding in a home. He fled again, but was eventually caught and taken into custody.
