PRESCOTT, AZ - Good news coming out of Prescott Valley.
The wife of fallen Hotshot Sean Misner gave birth to a healthy baby boy Thursday night.
Officials say Sean Jaxson Herbert Misner was born at 9 p.m. at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
Sean, who was named after his father, weighed in at six pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 and 3/4 inches long.
The family released the following statement Friday:
"The Misner family deeply appreciates the concern and the many warm wishes we're receiving. As you might imagine, this is profoundly emotional time for us and we ask that everyone please respect our privacy. Again our gratitude for your compassion and your heartfelt thoughts are appreciated more than you know."
Mom and baby are said to be doing well.
