PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - A Prescott Valley man was arrested by police after reportedly admitting to burglarizing a fast food restaurant he used to work at.
Around 10 p.m. Sunday, officers say Phillip Tipa reached through a Wendy's drive-thru window and took an unknown amount of money from the register before being scared away by an employee inside.
Investigators say Tipa is an ex-employee of the restaurant on Glassford Hill Road and admitted to committing the burglary after he was taken into custody and questioned by police.
Tipa was booked into the Yavapai County Jail in Camp Verde for one count of burglary.
