PRESCOTT, AZ -

A man charged with sex crimes against children has been extradited back to northern Arizona after being arrested in Oregon.

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said Friday that 65-year-old Eric George McNeill has been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center.

His bond has been set at $250,000.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested McNeill at a campground north of Klamath Falls on Sept. 19.

The Yavapai County Attorney's Office charged McNeill last July with 22 counts of committing sex crimes against children.

Prosecutors say the charges include 10 counts of sexual conduct with a minor, five counts of child molestation and four counts of sexual assault. The other charges are kidnapping, aggravated assault and influencing a witness.

Authorities didn't immediately know Friday whether McNeil has a lawyer yet.
