PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - A Prescott Valley man is behind bars tonight, accused of sexual assault against two teens.

But this isn't his first time he's been in trouble.

Prescott Valley police say Stephen Massari is a registered sex offender.

Lynne Sechler was disturbed when we told her she was living right across the street from Massari who is accused of having a sexual relationship with two teens.

"It concerns me, this block is full of kids," Sechler said.

Police say Massari met the teens while he was waiting tables at a local restaurant.

"In this case, he had a shared interest in music, he used that to strike up a conversation and build a relationship with these individual," said police spokesman Brandon Bonney.

We're told this was a method that worked for Massari who has been accused of molestation in the past.

In 2002 the 35-year-old was convicted of doing something similar. That time he met his victim at a concert.

The state then classified him as a level one sex offender with a low risk of striking again.

"He's found a way, and that's what sex offenders do, they find away to be in the community and reach kids in what's considered a safe environment," Bonney said.

Massari was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
