PAYSON, AZ - Snow is continuing to pile up, causing a headache for people living in northern Arizona.
For the second time in a week, Forest Lakes got pounded with new snow. Bill Morehead is helping his neighbors keep the snow from piling too high on their roof.
"Sometimes it seems never-ending,” he said. “By the time you get things cleaned out, it comes and dumps again."
Many in this small community lost power Tuesday morning when heavy snow brought down the mainline from Payson .
Crews worked to restore power to an estimated 2500 homes, but many here say outages are expected.
"I have a generator I can hook up and run if we want to, but we just keep the wood stove running and keep it warm," said Morehead.
The latest round of wintry weather has already covered cars, and made for slow traveling on the roads.
With even more snow expected to accumulate through the rest of the week, many here are bracing for some big snowfall totals.
Morehead said, "We deal with it. It's par for the course for living up here."
Others living in the area said they are throwing predictions for a dry winter right out the window since we already have more than four feet on the books.
