PAYSON - State Route 87 south of Payson is partially reopen after a brush fire sparked Wednesday near the area.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, one lane in each direction is open between the Bush Highway and the junction with State Route 188.
Drivers may still experience delays because one southbound and one northbound lane remain closed along a 35-mile stretch between mileposts 199-235.
Motorists looking for an alternate route may take US 60 east to SR 188 north to reconnect with SR 87.
