LAKE HAVASU, AZ - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies on Monday arrested a 47-year-old man with no pants who had shoplifted from a convenience store north of Lake Havasu City.

The incident reportedly happened in the 14800 block on Highway 95 near Interstate 40.

Steven Leo Briones was arrested around 2 a.m. Monday after the convenience store manager reported that a man drank a bottle of milk in the store, grabbed additional items and went into the restroom.

Deputies contacted Briones in the men's restroom and observed that he was only wearing dark boots, gray underwear and a dark T-shirt.

Deputies found an empty bottle of soda and a toiletry bag, the additional items he took from the store into the restroom, and questioned him about the items and his clothing.

Briones told deputies that he had already paid for the merchandise and that someone had stole his pants when he wrecked his motorcycle four days prior, according to Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

Briones didn't appear to have any injuries.

He was taken into custody and booked in Mohave County.
