SPRING VALLEY, AZ - Sheriff's deputies in northern Arizona are looking for the public's help to identify a man who is a suspect in the theft of narcotic drugs from a pharmacy.

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said the burglary happened early Monday morning at the Spring Valley Pharmacy in Spring Valley, Ariz.

The pharmacy owner told deputies that it appeared the suspect or suspects took various prescription medications, including Oxycontin.

Authorities said the male suspect forced his way into the business by cutting through the roof and dropping into the pharmacy area to steal the medications.

A possible suspect was identified through employee statements and video surveillance. The suspect had been in the store recently as a "customer" asking about certain medications.

Authorities provided a still image from the surveillance video hoping someone will recognize the suspect.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Detective Todd Swain at 928-771-32360 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
