GRAND CANYON, AZ - A rare photo of a black bear at the Grand Canyon is circling the internet Friday after it was captured by a hidden camera.
Greg Holm, a wildlife manager at the Grand Canyon, said it is very uncommon to see bears around the area because of its marginal habitat and few natural water sources, according to an article on Yahoo.com .
The photo was reportedly taken of the bear roaming by the South Rim last month, but park officials recently released the image.
Thirst might have driven the bear to the area since this year has been dry and the animal might have been looking for water, according to the report. Read more!
