NAVAJO COUNTY, AZ - The identity of a man found dead next to a burned vehicle in northern Arizona Tuesday has been released.
The Navajo County Sheriff's Office received a report of a burned vehicle and a body nearby it off Texas Lane, in Navajo County, east of White Mountain Lakes around 3 p.m.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a burned four door pickup that appeared to have caught fire after getting stuck in the mud and snow.
The burned body of 60-year-old James C. Grazier of White Mountain Lakes was found outside the vehicle.
Detectives determined Grazier's vehicle and his clothing caught fire and Grazier appeared to have dropped and rolled in the dirt, trying to extinguish the fire from his clothing.
The cause of the vehicle fire and Grazier's death is still under investigation, according to NCSO.
An autopsy has been ordered and results are pending.
At this time, no foul play is suspected.
Anyone with information concerning Grazier's death is asked to contact Detective Alden Whipple at 928-532-6060.
