WILLIAMS, Ariz. - The Department of Public Safety says Interstate 40 is closed for a fatal accident west of Williams.
DPS says the two-vehicle collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. 10 miles west of the city.
Officials say one person is confirmed dead.
At 7 p.m. DPS said the roadway had reopened but had no further information on the cause of the accident.
