PAULDEN, AZ - Yavapai County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a man Friday suspected of stealing gas on two occasions from a Paulden, Ariz. gas station.
Cody James Wilkins, 22, was arrested on suspicion of theft of services after deputies received an anonymous tip about the case.
Paulden allegedly stole a total of almost $150 in gas from the “Pink Store” off Highway 89 in Paulden.
The thefts occurred April 24 and May 8, police said, when Paulden pumped gas and left without paying.
Deputies are investigating the possible involvement of a female accomplice who entered the gas station and bought a drink while Paulden reportedly committed the theft.
