Mohave County deputies arrest Samual Chambers and Tiffany Hill for kidnapping her Kingman roommate

KINGMAN, AZ - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested a transient and his girlfriend after receiving a call that they had allegedly tied up and gagged a man the woman lived with in Kingman Monday night.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, Samual G. Chambers IV, a 30-year-old transient and his 28-year-old girlfriend Tiffany Marie Hill had stopped by the home of the victim in the 3800 block of John L. Avenue Monday evening.

Chambers reportedly accused the 50-year-old victim of having sexual relations with Hill, although he denied the allegations, police say.

The suspects then tied up the victim's hands and legs and continued to beat the man for the next few hours, including striking his head with an expandable baton.

The victim told deputies that Chambers threatened to kill him during the ordeal.

Chambers and Hill took the man's car and left the residence around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The man was apparently able to free himself from being gagged and deputies learned that neighbors were able to untie the man after they heard him yelling for help.

The victim was transported for medical attention after suffering a possible broken arm and a large laceration on his head, according to police.

Chambers and Hill returned to the residence around 8 p.m. Tuesday, and deputies entered the home to find the couple in hiding.

Chambers and Hill were arrested and could face charges for kidnapping, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The couple also had outstanding misdemeanor warrants for shoplifting, fines and failure to appear in court.
