BAGDAD, AZ - The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office has arrested three people after an investigation into criminal damage that occurred in early November.
The suspects, identified as Clinton Mabry, 25, Jeffrey Corbitt, 40, and Rachel Ventura, 21, were detained on December 13.
The property, located on the Kellis Ranch in the Wild Horse Basin area, included a windmill fan and a 15,000-gallon water tank. Both had been extensively damaged by numerous gunshots, rendering them unusable. Replacement estimates were $5,000 for the fan, and $15,000 for the tank.
Deputies recovered beer cans, liquor bottles, ammunition boxes, and expended shell casings at the scene during the initial investigation. Upon identification of the ammunition brand, distributors in the Prescott area were contacted by the lead deputy in an attempt to discover where the box had been purchased.
The suspects were located after a witness came forward with information on December 8. A search warrant for a residence located in the 100 block of Sunrise Terrace in Bagdad was issued based on the witness' account combined with the evidence recovered at the scene.
All three suspects were booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center for several counts of felony Criminal Damage.
Mabry and Ventura have been released, each on a $20,000 bond. Corbitt has been released pending further investigation.
