BULLHEAD CITY, AZ - Bullhead City police have identified a body found in the Colorado River Nature Center. Police say 36-year-old Raymond Arthur Sanchez of Bullhead City was discovered Sunday by a resident out for a walk through the nature center.
A police spokeswoman tells the Mohave Daily News Sanchez was found about 80 feet beyond the entrance to the sprawling nature center, his body wrapped in plastic and apparently dumped along the side of the main dirt path.
Police are treating Sanchez's death as a homicide, and they have established a probable cause of death, but are declining to release further information over concerns that it could compromise their investigation.
Police believe Sanchez was killed off-site, then dumped in the nature center sometime before dawn Sunday.
