KINGMAN, AZ - An escaped Arizona prison inmate and an accomplice have pleaded guilty in the deaths of an Oklahoma husband and wife who were carjacked and killed while traveling through New Mexico.

Tracy Province and Casslyn Welch faced murder charges in the 2010 deaths of Gary and Linda Haas of Tecumseh, Okla.

Province and Welch could have faced the death penalty, but under an agreement with prosecutors Friday, the two pleaded guilty to car carjacking resulting in death, conspiracy, firearms possession and use and other charges.

As part of Province's agreement, he agreed to serve at least five consecutive life terms. Prosecutors said Welch faces up to life in prison on at least two of the counts.
