KINGMAN, AZ - A Kingman father has been sentenced to six months in jail under the terms of a plea agreement in the death his baby daughter.
The Kingman Daily Miner reports 22-two-year-old George Lyman had previously entered the plea in Mohave County Superior Court before Tuesday's sentencing.
His daughter was just shy of 3 months when she died Sept. 20, 2010 after being left in a car on a hot day for close to five hours.
Lyman forgot the baby was in the back seat after taking the child's mother to work that morning.
Rescuers who responded said the baby's internal temperature was measured at 108 degrees at the hospital.
