LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ - The Coast Guard has rescued a dozen people from a burning boat in Lake Havasu in western Arizona.

The agency says it received a mayday call from people aboard the burning 42-foot boat shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday.

A Coast Guard boat crew rescued one person who jumped into the water while other boaters in the area helped take the others off the burning boat.

No one was injured and the 12 people were transported to Windsor Beach State Park.
