FLAGSTAFF, AZ - Authorities in northern Arizona say a Greenehaven man is in custody for allegedly burning down his mobile home on purpose.

Coconino County Sheriff's officials say 54-year-old William Daniel Oldt Jr. is being held on suspicion of arson, endangerment and criminal damage.

They say Oldt went to the Greenehaven Fire Department on Sunday and told firefighters that his home was on fire.

When firefighters arrived at Oldt's home north of Page, they found the out building to be fully engulfed with the fire spreading to the main residence.

The home was determined to be a total loss and a fence at an adjacent residence also was partially burned.

Sheriff's deputies say physical evidence was found at the scene and Oldt was arrested.

Flagstaff Fire Department arson investigators are continuing their investigation.
