FLAGSTAFF, AZ - A jogger was assaulted Sunday night on a trail in Flagstaff, and police are asking for the public’s help in apprehending the attacker.
The woman had just finished jogging on a trail near Izabel Street and Sixth Avenue around 8 p.m. when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her.
The woman began screaming, and the man released her and ran up the trail. Flagstaff Police are investigating the incident as an attempted sexual assault.
The man is described as a Native American or Hispanic male with short, black spiked hair. He was approximately 6 feet tall and between the ages of 20 and 25.
