FLAGSTAFF, AZ - The Flagstaff Police Department has arrested a suspect accused of using a machete to attack a man earlier this month in Flagstaff.

Police arrested 19-year-old Andrew James Jaurequi at a motel in Flagstaff Thursday afternoon.

Jaurequi was arrested for attempted homicide and probation violation, said Flagstaff police.

When police arrived on December 1, they found the victim with serious injuries to his face, head, back and legs. He was reportedly attacked by a suspect wielding a machete.
