FLAGSTAFF, AZ - Police say four Flagstaff teenagers are in custody in connection with an armed robbery near the Northern Arizona University campus.
They say one of the teens allegedly approached the victim with a rifle at an intersection early Sunday.
The teen allegedly demanded money from the victim and then jumped in a waiting vehicle and sped off.
A Coconino County Sheriff's Office deputy spotted the car several minutes later and gave chase on North Highway 89.
The driver lost control of the car and the four teens fled, but were later arrested.
The names of the three 17-year-old boys and one 17-year-old girl haven't been released.
Police said Monday that the case remains under investigation.
