SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A fugitive from Texas has been arrested Friday morning after fleeing from a Scottsdale crash Thursday night.

Scottsdale police said the suspect, 30-year-old Cody D. Lang, was at a motel near Scottsdale and McKellips roads when he fled in a white RV after being contacted by detectives around 9 p.m.

Lang's vehicle was headed southbound on Granite Reef Road when it struck a dark-colored sedan heading west on McDowell Road.

The driver of the sedan was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare with minor injuries.

Lang left the RV prior to officers arriving on scene.

Scottsdale police spokesman Mark Clark said Lang was arrested at 10:45 a.m. near Granite Reef and Chaparral roads.

He was in a vehicle of a known associate. He didn't try to resist arrest.
