SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Disney dream girl, Chelsea Kane, is readying for her dancing debut on Monday's season premiere of "Dancing With The Stars".
She may be better known in the Valley as Chelsea Staub, having attended Mohave Middle School and Saguaro High School.
But her decision to join the cast didn't come easy.
I got the chance to sit down with her father, John Staub earlier this month, who admitted Chelsea was excited about the opportunity, but said in the end it was a family decision.
"She was really excited to be picked, but we talked and considered, 'Is this the right career move?' and we all unanimously said yes!" John remembered.
He also adds, what you see is not what you get with his talented daughter.
"Chelsea usually plays a mean girl, but she is very sweet," he said.
Cheer on Chelsea this season on "Dancing With The Stars", which premieres Monday night on ABC15-TV.
