SCOTTSDALE, AZ - If you’re looking to spend more than a million dollars on your Valentine’s Day date (and who isn’t?), here’s just a sample of what you can buy when money is no object.
Begin your night, by allowing the drivers from Mirage Limousine to pick you up in a 40-foot Rolls-Royce, believed to be the longest Rolls-Royce in the country.
“It’s mostly used for weddings and special occasions,” said Kevin Amjadi, the owner.
Costing around $500,000, and taking two years to build; the luxurious ride can be yours for $150 an hour.
Once inside the limousine, surprise the woman in your life with one of the largest collections of Burmese rubies in a 90 carat necklace, handmade from Molina Fine Jewelers . Price tag: $998,000.
“Every piece of jewelry has a story behind it,” said Molina’s Vice President, Mark Anthony Skarupa. “I guarantee you, a woman will never forget any time she receives a piece of jewelry.”
For dinner, Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers perhaps the best steak you’ll ever taste.
“This is something that if you've never tried it, this is something you have to try once in your life,” Executive Chef Daniel Patino told ABC15 about a favorite entree.
The main course includes Japanese A5 Kobe Beef served with truffled mac and cheese, brussel sprouts with bacon marmalade and broccolini with garlic and chili citronette.
“When people describe ‘melt in your mouth,’ this literally does that,” Patino said.
If you include the Russian Beluga Caviar ($85), a bottle of Krug Champagne ($2,500), a dessert and a dessert wine—the meal of your life will end with a bill of about $4,600.
The final stop of your night takes you to the Presidential Suite at The Phoenician .
For roughly $5,000 a night, enjoy 4,000 square-feet of comfort with a romantic rose pedal turndown, chocolate-covered strawberries and sparkling wine.
“Anywhere between three and four dozen roses are strewn throughout the area,” said Denise Seomin, the director of public relations for the resort. “It creates a very romantic ambiance.”
The suite includes two bedrooms, a living area, a dining area, four balconies, two and a half baths and a private kitchenette.
But before you book your lavish night of limos and luxury, check your bank account.
Total price tag for the entire night: $1,008,549. (Plus tips and taxes.)
And if your budget isn’t as flexible as the dream date described above, keep in mind that all of these companies have much more affordable options.
Hope we didn’t set the bar too high…
Happy Valentine’s Day!
