SCOTTSDALE, AZ - They gather tips to help solve violent crimes in the Valley and now Silent Witness investigators need your help.
The group, which counts on information from the public to help solve crimes, uses no public money to fund rewards.
Those rewards often reach $1,000 for information leading to indictments or arrests.
Tipsters can call or email their information completely anonymously.
Instead, officials rely on grants, donations and fundraisers.
The group's biggest fundraiser is the Catch a Crook Golf Tournament, which will be held September 23rd at Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale.
The cost is $175 per golfer or $700 per foursome.
More information can be found by calling tournament contact Jenny Kakol at (602) 625-6181.
Silent witness investigators can be reached through their website or by calling 1-800-343-TIPS.
