SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Police are looking for the public's help capturing a man responsible for two armed robberies in Scottsdale this week.

According to Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark, the suspect robbed a Fascinations store on N. Scottsdale Road around 9 p.m. Thursday and a nearby tanning salon the night before.

Clark said that in Thursday's robbery a lone male entered the store with a black handgun and demanded money from the two female clerks. The suspect fled with cash and merchandise. There were no customers in the store at the time.

An officer responding to Thursday's scene looked at the store's surveillance video and recognized the suspect from a robbery at the Darque Tan store Wednesday night. Clark said in that case the suspect also displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled on foot to the south.

There were no injuries in either of the robberies.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 175 pounds with brown hair.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the robberies is urged to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or leave information on the Silent Witness website .
