SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Police are investigating after a man tried to abduct a 19-year-old woman in Scottsdale Tuesday night.
Sgt. Mark Clark said the incident happened near Alma School Road and Dynamite Boulevard.
Clark said the victim was jogging along Dynamite when a car passed her and stopped on the shoulder of the road.
A man got out of the car, grabbed the jogger and tried to pull her into the car.
Clark said the victim was able to free herself from the man at which point he got back in his car and fled the area.
Clark said the 19-year-old was uninjured.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 200-225 lbs., with a heavy build and a dark beard. His car is described as a small silver car with dark wheels.
