SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police have arrested a woman suspected of robbing a Chase bank branch earlier this week.
According to officials, Charlotte Willenzik allegedly entered the Chase bank near Scottsdale and Lone Mountain Roads in Scottsdale Monday evening, showed a teller a note demanding cash and left the bank with the money.
Police said after the surveillance photos taken at the time of the robbery were released to the public, they received tips about the identity and whereabouts of Willenzik that led to her arrest.
Police found her Wednesday evening staying with her grandparents at a home in Cave Creek and arrested her on suspicion of two counts of robbery, officials said.
Police also suspect Willenzik of robbing another bank in Phoenix.
According to police, detectives searched her room and found most of the cash from both robberies.
