SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe fire crews responded to a first-alarm fire at a residence in Scottsdale Saturday afternoon.
The fire appeared to start in the attic of a home near Granite Reef and Chaparral roads and eventually spread to a shed in a neighbor's yard, said Brian Read with the Scottsdale Fire Department.
Read said a family was inside the home, but was able to escape unharmed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Read said. No one was injured in the fire.
