SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Police have identified a woman found deceased in a wash Saturday afternoon in Scottsdale.
Officer David Pubins said 38-year-old Nicky Yuen was found around 4 p.m. by a passerby who called police to say he thought he saw a mannequin floating in the wash just south of Jackrabbit and west of Hayden Road.
Officers showed up to the area and found Yuen deceased in the wash.
Detectives didn’t see any signs of foul play, Pubins said.
Police confirmed Yuen was resident of a group home nearby.
Pubins said Yuen went out for a walk Friday afternoon and was later reported missing when she didn't return as the storm worsened.
The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, he said.
