SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who flashed a light, possibly from a smart phone, into a Scottsdale apartment early Sunday morning.

Officer David Pubins with Scottsdale police said the incident happened around 3 a.m. at the Palladium Apartments near Drinkwater Boulevard and Indian School Road.

Two women living in the apartment told police it appeared that video was being recorded from a smart phone held up near a window, Pubins said.

No suspects have been found or identified as of yet.

Officers found a nearby apartment with a window screen removed and another bent, Pubins said.

But a resident at the apartment reportedly said he or she allowed a person to enter who didn’t have a key, and the screen was removed to get in.

It’s unknown if the bent screen was damaged from that same incident or not, Pubins said.

Scottsdale police said it’s unclear if Sunday’s incident is related to calls earlier this month at the same apartment complex regarding a man who entered apartments and exposed himself to women.

That suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, 5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-11-inches tall, and weighs 150 to 175 pounds. A police sketch of that suspect is attached to this story.

He had short blond or light brown hair and possibly a piercing near one of his eyes.

He was wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gray workout pants, and possibly a beanie cap during the third incident, police said.

Anyone with information that may be related to these incidents is urged to call Scottsdale police at 480-312-TIPS or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
