SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police arrested a naked man Friday after allegedly carjacking someone and causing a series of accidents . But a police report reveals it’s not the man’s first time stripping down.
Scottsdale police said John Brigham is still in the hospital after Friday’s incident and officers are waiting on test results to see if he may have been on drugs.
But a Scottsdale officer had another run-in with Brigham last Thanksgiving.
According to the police report, an officer responded to a home near Hayden and Indian Bend roads after a neighbor called 911 reporting a disturbance.
When officers showed up, they found Brigham in the driveway wearing a towel.
The report noted Brigham told officer he had smoked marijuana and “snorted” some meth.
Brigham's uncle owned the home, but was in New York at the time.
Police arrested Brigham for criminal damage after officers found several broken and damaged items.
While in jail, the report said Brigham started to kick, bang, and yell while in his jail cell and eventually Brigham removed all of his clothes.
Brigham was given a ticket and released to his brother the next day.
