SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A Scottsdale woman and her sister are celebrating Tuesday night after finding their beloved dog "Jo Jo" who disappeared in June after slipping out the front door.
Darcy Basinger, the sister of Jo Jo's owner Marisa, said a couple spotted Jo Jo Monday about a mile and a half from where he disappeared.
Basinger said she and her sister found the dog wandering in the desert near Hayden and Jomax roads around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The sisters took him to the vet to be checked out. Basinger said he has lost some weight and is dehydrated, but seems to be okay.
The Basingers offered a $5,000 to anyone who could help find Jo Jo.
They even reached out to George Clooney's girlfriend Stacey Keibler to help.
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant shared Jo Jo’s picture with her 157,000 Facebook followers.
There is no word yet on if anyone qualifies for the reward.
