SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A Valley freeway has reopened after police and fire crews dealt with a vehicle that caught fire on the Loop 101 Pima Freeway near Indian School Road.
Crews were able to put the fire out within minutes and the truck appeared to be a total loss.
The Arizona Department of Transportation reported that two lanes were blocked, but the backup appeared to be at least two to three miles long as fire and police vehicles blocked the scene.
The scene was cleaned up by 4 p.m.
An official with the Department of Public Safety said no injuries were reported.
