SCOTTSDALE, AZ - If you love cars, you don't want to miss the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale this week.
The show is being held at WestWorld of Scottsdale from January 13 through 20, with some high-profile cars on display.
According to their website , the auction will be the largest event in the company's 42-year history.
Nearly 1,400 classic, exotic, muscle cars, Hot Rods and other collectibles will be on the auction block.
The 2013 event will set a record for offering the largest number of Shelby vehicles at one auction, with such automobiles as the 2012 GT500 50th Anniversary Super Snake, to the rarest Shelby mustang in existence.
Another must-see attraction will be the original 1966 TV Batmobile that was seen in the "Batman" series, as well as the movie adaptation starring Adam West. The Batmobile will be on display Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
In addition to the cars, fans will have the opportunity shop, enjoy music, cocktails, food and various demonstrations.
Each day is filled with a variety of events, including an invite-only opening night gala on Monday, car collector seminars on Thursday, and autograph signings with Chip Foose and Kurt Busch on Friday and Saturday.
