SCOTTSDALE, AZ - The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help finding a man who struck and killed a bicyclist with his car in 2006.
MCSO said on September 23 at around 8 a.m., Christopher Flores, 25, was heading east on McKellips Road near Dobson Road when he hit the bicyclist who was riding on the shoulder of the road.
The bicyclist Jason Wedo, died as a result of the impact.
Officials say Flores is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, 165 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
Flores was reportedly under the influence of marijuana when the accident occurred. A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2008.
