SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Bail is set at $100,000 for a Gilbert man accused of carjacking several vehicles while he was naked and allegedly causing crashes that injured seven people in Scottsdale.

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge has set a cash-only bond for 45-year-old John Hugh Brigham.

Scottsdale police took Brigham to hospital for an evaluation after the June 29 incident. Authorities say a toxicology test showed Brigham had the drug PCP in his system.

Witnesses say the carjacker exited a vehicle after the first crash, took off his clothes and stole another vehicle.

Police say four people were injured in the second crash, including a pregnant woman who suffered two broken legs.

Brigham is being held on suspicion of endangerment, theft, robbery, DUI, aggravated assault causing serious physical injury and other charges.
