PARADISE VALLEY, AZ - A fourth-grade teacher in the Paradise Valley School District who was arrested last month in a sexual exploitation case has pleaded not guilty.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 54-year-old Thomas H. Warner entered his plea Thursday morning.

His next court date is an initial pretrial conference on April 17.

Warner was taken into custody on Feb. 13 on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Police detectives from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant for child pornography at Warner's home. Detective say they found numerous items of child pornography inside the home.

Police say Warner has been employed by the Paradise Valley School District for the past several years.

It was unclear Thursday whether Warner has hired a lawyer yet.
